Pleated skirt with gold pattern

I made this skirt (two of them actually, one for me and one for my friend) from more cloth my mom got. It's a pleated skirt with a waistband. There's no zipper or anything; I just put in a hook and small opening. I also hemmed the bottom so that it's shorter. Here's a picture from before I hemmed it. I'll put up a picture of the shorter version later.
