I had some left over cloth from that dress, and I wanted to try making shorts. I really liked these shorts from Cotton&Curls. I kind of used this tutorial from apairandasparediy.com. The shorts can be worn high-waisted or low-waisted, but I mostly wear them inside the house. Picture coming soon...
