Maybe I'll get a better picture later. I took this before ironing.

Edit: better pictures have arrived (I ironed these beforehand even though they still look a bit wrinkly)!

Ok here's my attempt at a tutorial. Comment if you want more details!

Then you attach the skirt to the waistband and sew up the side, but not all the way. Leave some room to be able to put it on and take it off, as shown below.

Sew some hooks on one side. I put four.

And sew little hook holder things on the other side. Make sure they match up.
